After TebingKeraton as the interest places in bandung, now has another place that is a trend for tourists especially teenagers who like to express their selfie.
The name of this place is Stone Garden (Taman Batu), it is not too far from Padalarang, in Kampung Gunung Masigit Girimulya Kec.Cipatat Kab.Bandung barat, West Java.
Stone garden is the peak of Mt.Pawon (which are megalithic sites Goa Pawon) which is wide enough and many spread chunks of carst n shaped like a coral that makes it artistic.

Stone Garden is in the carst region of Citatah who have evidence of prehistoric megalithic such as the presence of Goa Pawon sites, as well as evidence of an ancient lake that is known as "Cekungan Bandung"

This area is limestone hills, so many keep mineral content of rocks as raw materials such as porcelain, marble, calcium etc. It was a lot of limestone mines there, their take the contents in a way tampered with crowbar or heavy equipment even detonated with dynamite. Besides the miners, there are buildings to process mining products, it called Lio, is a place for burning limestone and also used for the grinding process limestone into limestone flour.
Limestone mining and mineral processing into semi-finished materials is causing some negative effects such as damage to the karst region Citatah as Cekungan Bandung hydrological cycle, air pollution such as fumes caused by burning limestone at Lio and dust from limestone flouring process are effect to human health.
As Mount Masigit as seen from Stone Garden to the west, are few years ago continuously mined so that mountain is more shrink now.
The government should to restrict the area of mining activity in the area carst Citatah in order to keep the natural benefits of Citatah carst region, and they should to find the solutions for local residents who are generally depend on the mining limestone.

Stone Garden is taken care by the villagers around, only pay the maintenance retribution for 3000 rupiahs per person. Already available toilets, parking lots and the footpaths are reasonably clean. There is also warung outside the area of Stone Garden right in front of the entrance.
Please do not leave anything but footprints,
do not take anything except the picture,
do not kill except kill time.
